Originally from Wagga Wagga, NSW, Cara studied RAD ballet, jazz and voice before moving to Melbourne and graduating from the full-time Performing Arts Course at Dance World 301.


Cara's first professional theatrical production at 19 was CATS, touring New Zealand and

Australia; after which she joined the cast of CHESS at the Princess Theatre, Sisterealla the musical at the Regent Theatre and Legends in Concert, all in Melbourne.


Moving to Europe Cara played Demeter in CATS Hamburg, Germany and was a Dancer/Showgirl in Stars in Concert, Berlin. Cara was honored to work on the new production of CATS in Stuttgart with Dame Gillian Lynne (the original choreographer of CATS ) and Jo-Anne Robinson where she was Assistant Dance Captain covering six roles. Returning to Melbourne Cara took on the role of Resident Choreographer for the Really Useful Company’s production of CATS South Korea and went on to be CATS Resident Choreographer for the Asia wide tour in 2007/8.


Other highlights of her career include being cast in Saturday Night Fever touring Australia, New Zealand and Asia for 2 years; a featured Dancer on Countdown, the Australian Arena Tour and The CLOC production of Mamma Mia, the Musical.


In her career Cara’s versatility as a singer, dancer, model and actress has seen her perform in numerous commercial and corporate productions around the world with artists including; Tina Arena, OMC, Past to Present and Earth Wind and Fire. 


Cara has also been a Showgirl; a cheerleader for the Melbourne Tigers Basketball Team and a fashion model in parades for Bonds, Alana Hill, Peter Alexander and Seafolly.


Television credits include Hey Hey its Saturday, In Melbourne Tonight, Coca-Cola Take 40, Talking Telephone Numbers, The Logie Awards, The Good Friday Appeal and Big Girls Blouse with TV commercials for Ford, Vicks, Just Jeans and Autobarn.


Choreography credits include; Countdown the Musical, Melbourne; Cartier Jewelry Parade, Hong Kong; The Wiz, Ruyton High School and numerous school and dance school productions.


More recently Cara has trained as a Barre Attack teacher. She is excited about working with the new generation of dancers.
