New Zealand born-Melbourne based choreographer, Phill Haddad is a highly sought after choreographer that has been choreographing, performing & teaching on & off stage & screen for approx two decades. He has worked both nationally and internationally & has wide variety of credits to his name.
Phill’s extensive list of choreographic credits include, but are not limited to, working with & sup porting artists such as Destiny’s Child, Boys II Men, K-Ci & JoJo, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Ru Paul, NTrance, Steps and also Peter Andre, CDB, Marcia Hines, Deni Hines, Joanne feat BZ & Ilanda as well as theatrical performances with ‘Grease the Arena Spectacular’, ‘Shout’, ‘Annie Get Your Gun’, ‘High Society’ & ‘Oh What A Night’. Phill has also choreographed & performed in numerous TV shows such as ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, “Neighbours”, “Hey Hey It’s Saturday”, “IMT”, “Blue Heelers” as well as the ARIA awards performances for Holly Valance, CDB, & Joanne feat Bz & Ilanda. Adding to that are various music video clips, concerts and tours both nationally & overseas. Phill was also the assistant choreographer & dance captain for the Countdown Spectacular Arena Concert Tour 2017 & 2018 working with Molly Meldrum & various artists such as Kate Ce brano, Psuedo Echo, John Paul Young, Samantha Fox, The Knack, The Angels, Ron Wilson, Leo Sayer & many more.
He has choreographed for many corporate showcases over the years as well as produced & directed his own shows, such as the Melbourne Fringe Festival award winning show ‘Rhythm n Runners’. He also recently co-choreographed the Award winning show “Beats On Pointe’ which has toured nationally & has also just made it’s international debut on Londons WestEnd to sold out shows in February 2018 & is currently back on WestEnd with a sold out 32 show season & a world tour to follow.
His talents are highly respected & as such, has been invited to judge all the major Australian Hip Hop Competitions such as UDO, Australian Hip Hop Championships & Australian Step Off Hip Hop Competitions over the last 10 years. Phill was also the first person to represent Masters Of Choreography & Australia judging at the UDO International World Finals in Glasgow recently as well as being a senior judge for the world wide competition here for the last 3 years!
Phill was also a valued & key member of Masters Of Choreography’s showcases & shows with stand out performances in “Once Upon a time Pt1 & 2”, Nightmare On Dance Street Pt1 & 2” & also “Signs Of The Zodiac!”
Along with this Phill has also been training-coaching & choreographing two Hip Hip Crews (DE.3 & Dynamite) from Dancers Edge in Bayswater for the AASCF & World Cheer & Dance Competi tions. Both crews have represented Australia placing the open girl crew DE.3 back to back top 10 finishers with 6th place (2015) & 8th place (2016)...& Dynamite senior crew placing 3rd at the US National finals in 2017! In 2018 DE.3 placed 4th at the World Finals in April making it their most successful campaign yet & recently became National Champions for the 6th year consecutively as well as Grand Champions for the 5th Year consecutively also.
Phill is working currently as the Dance Director for the Performing Arts Department at Saltwater P 9 College. He has been there since the school first opened in early 2019.
He is a tireless, diligent & enthusiastic choreographer, always teaching & performing, always will ing to impart his creativity, energy & passion upon those he has the privilege to either teach, train
